We mentioned last week that Cody Linley (Hannah Montana’s Jake Ryan) would be starring in a new Disney Channel Original Movie entitled “Starstruck”, but now it looks like that information was wrong! According to a press release released by Disney, the movie will star Sterling Knight!
(Update: Disney sources have told us that Cody Linley was replaced
by Sterling Knight because of scheduling issues. Cody will be taking to
the stage in a Broadway play called “Over Here”. Congrats Cody!!)
Production has begun on “Starstruck,” a music-filled Disney Channel Original Movie starring Sterling Knight
(”Sonny With A Chance”) and introducing Danielle Campbell. Slated to
premiere in 2010, the movie is filming in and around Los Angeles at
landmark locations including Hollywood Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard, the
Hollywood Sign, Grauman’s Chinese Theater and the Venice Boardwalk.
The story follows Jessica Olson (played by
Campbell), a down-to-earth girl from the Midwest who collides
(literally) with Hollywood’s teen heartthrob, pop star Christopher
Wilder (played by Knight). They wind up on a love-struck adventure in
Southern California, but their bond is tested when she returns home and
he publicly denies their relationship.
Also starring are Brandon Mychal Smith (”Sonny With
A Chance”) as Stubby, Christopher’s childhood best friend; Maggie
Castle (”The Time Traveler’s Wife”) as Sara Olson, Jessica’s older,
star struck sister; and Dan O’Connor (”Malcolm in the Middle”) and Beth
Littleford (Disney XD’s upcoming “I’m in the Band”, “Rules of
Engagement”) as Dean and Barbara Olson, Jessica and Sara’s parents.
Knight and Smith have become familiar faces to Disney Channel fans
since the debut of their hit series “Sonny With A Chance.” Since its
February 2009 premiere, “Sonny With A Chance” is TV’s No. 1 program in
its Sunday 8:00 p.m. time period in Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14, and
ranks among TV’s Top 5 programs overall in the target demos.
The movie’s soundtrack will feature songs written by songwriters
Mitch Allan, Jessi Alexander, Adam Anders, Aris Aronchitis, Peer
Astrom, Ali Dee, Andy Dodd, Nikki Hassman, Jeannie Lurie, Niclas
Molinder, Chen Neeman, Joacim Persson and Adam Watts.

Moi non plus j'ai pas beaucoup compris ce qui est dit en détail mais en gros ils disent qu'un nouveau DCOM avec Sterling Knight (qui joue dans Sonny) est en production.

C'est pas super original, ca ressemble un peut à "La naissance d'une star" (un truc dans le genre) ou "Hannah Montana" pour le milieu star.
Sinon le casting est pas très cherché y reprend que des seconds rôles qu'on à déjà vu dans des anciennes séries Disney Channel...

si je comprend bien l'article plus haut c'est Cody Linley(Jake dans Hannah Montana) qui devait avoir le rôle principal mais il prepare une comedie musicale pour Broadway donc disney a choisi Sterling Knight !

je vien d'ecouter la B.O du film c'est bof (reste plus cas voir ce que sa donne dans le film)!!

par contre je trouve sa nul de mettre 2 fois la meme chanson sur le cd

-la chanson 'Hero' chanté par Sterling Knight est 2 fois sur le cd (version normale et acoustique)

-la chanson 'something about the sunshine' duo Sterling Knight et la fille (je c'est plus son nom)
et la version chanté que par la fille !

Ils ont fait cela dans High School Muiscal 3 Nos Années Lycée lorsqu'ils repris plusieurs chansons au début du film et à la fin du film.

La bande-annonce vient d'être diffusé sur Disney Channel ( " En Mai " ).

Mais c'est du n'importe quoi le film sort en DVD aussi en Mai.
Il fallait que le DVD sorte en été ou en octobre et non pas dans le même mois que le film va sortir à la télé.
